RTI Fellow Awarded Grant to Study Research Attitudes of Osteopathic Medical Students

Molly Montgomery, director of library services, Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, was awarded an internal research grant through the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine Start-Up Fund in the amount of $5,000 to fund key aspects of her research project. Montgomery's research will examine the perceptions and attitudes of osteopathic medical students about participating in research. The Start-Up grant will fund the purchase of qualitative analysis software and provide incentives for students who agree to be interviewed.

Montgomery is a fellow of the 2021 MLA Research Training Institute (RTI), and this project is the focus of her research. The RTI project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (RE-95-17-0025-17).
