important building blocks for MLA leadership. Each is described in the MLA Board Policies Governing Caucuses, Domain Hubs, and Community Council

*Chair-elect *
The Chair-elect positon serves as Chair and Immediate Past-Chair in subsequent years (total of three [3] years). The duties of are to:
• serve as chair in the chair’s absence

Position Review
This work is great for the librarian who is looking for a leadership position within MLA during a unique transition time. It is an opportunity
to shape both our caucus and its place within the larger organization. The best part has been the support of and commraderie among fellow ICC officers
who made the work neither a burden nor overwhelming. Nominate yourself or a colleague: someone who wants to make significant contributions to MLA
over the course of a career.
