MLA is always hot with evening activities. From vendor sponsored parties to dine-arounds with colleagues. This year was no different; with one exception Monday night had no scheduled events.
ClinicalKey sponsored an awesome dinner cruise around the harbor that provided stunning views of the Chicago skyline.
Wolters Kluwers/Ovid had a Mexican-style fiesta for Cinco de Mayo, with local band, Final Say. This celebration offered margaritas, a carving station, and a dance floor.
Other nighttime activities included a rooftop party sponsored by EBSCO and a small reception with AAAScience. The Dine Arounds filled up fast. Many enjoyed having dinner with old and new colleagues.
With so much going on at the conference (during and after), a quiet evening in the hotel was just as joyous.
