NCNMLG, a chapter of MLA, stands in solidarity with our Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) colleagues. We say with one voice that the violence and hatred faced by the APIDA community is intolerable and should not be ignored nor underreported in our communities. As an organization that works toward equity and inclusion, NCNMLG stands with our APIDA members, and we voice our support for the APIDA community. We are committed to being a welcoming and supportive professional organization for them and all our members by continuing to offer opportunities, advocacy, and training in health librarianship. We welcome opportunities to build new partnerships in support of the APIDA community. In addition, NCNMLG endorses the statements of solidarity released by other caucuses that support our colleagues.
