A quick reminder: Round 1 abstract submissions for MLA | SLA '23 contributed content are due October 31, 2022. It's time to get that proposal finished and turned in! The National Program Committee and Contributed Content Working Group are excited to read your abstracts and plan the program for MLA | SLA '23.
The first piece of good news is that the National Program Committee has expanded to include SLA members! Please join me in welcoming SLA volunteers Nabi Hasan, PhD, PDF, FNEB, FSLA, of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and Andrew Shimp of Yale University. We are thrilled that they are participating, and we look forward to their valuable input to the planning process.
More good news ... MLA and SLA member presenters who will be attending MLA | SLA ’23 in person in Detroit may be eligible for a $75 in-person registration discount. Discounts are available as follows:
• Up to 2 presenters per in-person presentation/paper/poster
• Up to 4 presenters per in-person Immersion or Education Session
• Presenter discount is not available in combination with existing registration discounts such as an institutional bulk registration or student registration.
We hope this makes it even easier for you-- to both submit a proposal and come see us in Detroit next May!
