MLA '17 Programming by the Numbers: Papers, Posters, Lightning Talks, and Special Content Sessions

The MLA ′17 Contributed Content Working Group thanks everyone who took the time and effort to prepare and submit abstracts for the upcoming annual meeting, as well as those who volunteered their time to review the abstracts. We could not have completed the peer review process without you!

The theme, Dream, Dare, Do, generated an interesting play on words for many authors, and we believe it also gave us all an opportunity to think about the work we do in a different light. The submissions received were of the highest quality, and we are confident that you will find the programming in Seattle to be outstanding. Below is a numerical summary of the submissions. The Contributed Content Working Group is happy to see that many at MLA this year will be first time presenters!
