Be Part of the Big Picture! Live streaming interviews at Mosaic '16

To trial emerging live streaming technologies, such as Periscope or Facebook Live, etc., there will be a live streaming location near the Mosaic '16 registration booth, to conduct interviews about attendees experiences.

This is separate from the plenaries and meetings that are made available to online conference attendees.

Live video is potentially the “next big thing” in social media. It’s being viewed as an important way for users to generate content at a time when original content sharing is declining. For example, Facebook recently launched their Facebook Live service to make users “feel more connected in a personal way.” It’s also hoped that live video will attract and engage users in new ways.

We will be updating this post leading up to, and throughout, the conference.  Check back for more information!

If you're interested in conducting a live streamed interview, please contact Mosaic '16 Blog Editor Orvie Dingwall.

Please note.  To preserve intellectual content, live streaming is not permitted at Mosaic '16 sessions, committee meetings, and other unique MLA meeting content.
