All MLA '20 attendees will receive a complimentary TriMet transit pass when they pick up their registration packet! The pass is good for the MAX light rail, the streetcar, and busses across Portland through the end of the meeting. It’s an easy light rail ride from MLA ’20’s headquarters hotel, the Hilton Portland Downtown, to the Oregon Convention Center, site of the conference.
The Hilton Portland Downtown is located in Portland’s walkable Downtown, with ready access to restaurants, cultural offerings, shopping, and other entertainment. MLA has also arranged discounted rates at several other hotels: the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland, the Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center, and the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown/Convention Center. These hotels are located in the Lloyd neighborhood, closer to the Oregon Convention Center and nearer to the Lloyd Center, Oregon’s largest mall – but away from a wider range of out-of-hotel dining and gathering options.
