BodyViz: Learning in 3D

Teaching and learning methods are always evolving. Technology enhanced learning tools are on the rise! The Exhibit Hall features innovative ways Libraries can offer new learning experiences. At BodyViz, a first time exhibitor located at booth 436, attendees can experience 3D renditions of MRI and CT scans. Senior Consultant, John Williams, provides an interactive demonstration of how 3D MRI/CT Anatomy, helps learners visualize and understand spatial relationships in otherwise 2D imagery. Armed with an Xbox game controller, and donning 3D glasses, Williams turns an internal library of real patient data made up of anatomy and pathology scans, into virtual reality.
