The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Libraries invite applications for the position of assistant director/reference librarian at the Harrington Library of the Health Sciences in Amarillo, TX. We seek an enthusiastic, forward-thinking individual to join our energetic library team. Our new colleague will serve as the library liaison to the School of Pharmacy and the School of Health Professions by providing reference, research, and curriculum support to the faculty, students, and staff. This individual, who reports to the associate director of the Harrington Library of the Health Sciences, will contribute expertise, vision, and new ideas to our library’s bibliographic instruction, collection development, and outreach activities.
Required: A master’s of library science from an American Library Association–accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical library or an academic health sciences library. Supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience in providing library instruction.
