Abstracts Due Soon

The MLA ’22 submission site for posters and lightning talks is now open and will remain open until January 26, 2022. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your innovative and revolutionary work with your colleagues as we meet at MLA '22 Reconnect, Renew, Reflect.

Posters and lightning talks are great ways to share information about research or programs. Submitters must choose a primary area of practice that relates to the submission. MLA Areas of Practice include Clinical Support, Education, Health Equity and Global Health, Information Management, Information Services, Innovation & Research Practice, and Professionalism & Leadership. The 2022 National Program Committee will use these categories to organize and schedule meeting content.

Like papers, posters and lightning talks can be submitted as program descriptions or as research submissions. Submissions require a structured abstract. More information about structured abstracts can be found at The Structured Abstract: An Essential Tool for Researchers.

If you have submitted a paper proposal that was not accepted, consider updating the abstract and submitting the topic for consideration as a poster or a five-minute lightning talk.

Find more information on the submission process at MLA ’22 FAQ: Papers, Posters, Lightning Talks, and Immersion Sessions. Questions? Contact Debra Cavanaugh, director, professional development.
