Michelle Keba Knecht is the Senior Medical Librarian and Head of the Medical and Health Sciences Collection and User Services Department for the Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. She is also a doctoral student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Florida Atlantic, where her research uses Legitimation Code Theory to explore code clashes between healthcare professionals and breast cancer survivors. She has two young daughters (ages 2 and 4) and loves listening to audiobooks on her commute. She is currently deeply invested in Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere universe.
