In its seventh year, MLA’s RTI Fellowship Program transforms its participants into researchers who can independently conduct or lead quality research projects. The unique year-long virtual RTI training covers all the stages of designing, implementing, and communicating a successful health information research project.
Benefits of the RTI Fellowship Program:
- Recognition for the professional achievement of successfully completing a competitive and intensive yearlong fellowship in advanced research methods and hands-on research experience.
- A marketable set of skills. Through the RTI Fellowship Program, you’ll learn how to develop effective research questions, select a research design, identify the components of a research project, collect, manage, and analyze data, publish and present the results of a research project, and much more.
- The knowledge to discuss research and scholarship with teaching faculty and researchers at your institution. You may even find yourself teaching research methods to faculty and students at your institution.
- The skillset to confidently implement research ideas that transform your library and raise your professional profile.
- The expertise needed to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
You won’t be alone on the RTI Fellowship Program journey. The program not only connects you with a mentor and small mentor group but also, you’ll learn from nationally renowned researchers alongside a cohort of 20+ other librarians. When you complete the Fellowship, you’ll receive CE credit hours and a well-deserved RTI Fellow Certificate and join a strong network of past RTI Fellows and researchers who can help you in making the next step.
