Chapter Council Presents Chapter Sharing Roundtables

Date / Time:
12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Sponsored by Wolters Kluwer Health | UpToDate

Optional ticketed event. You must register in advance. There will be no onsite registration. A lunch ticket is required to participate in a discussion and costs $50. Register by topic number. Registrations without a topic number will not be processed.

Attend the Chapter Council Presents Chapter Sharing Roundtables for lunch and informal discussions on a variety of topics. Lunch will be a plated meal including soup, entrée, salad, and dessert. Please indicate dietary restrictions on your registration form.

Facilitators and recorders will be at each table to initiate discussion and to document the discussion for posting on the Chapter Council website. Facilitators and recorders earn one point toward membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals for completing these activities. If you would like to share your skills and expertise as a facilitator, please email Antonio DeRosa at

MLA offers one free lunch ticket per topic to new members (MLA member for five years or less) who register for the meeting via the online registration system. Free tickets are supported through chapter donations and MLA and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In the optional ticket section of the online registration form, select Chapter Council Presents Sharing Roundtable “free lunch.” New this year: Free lunch recipients will serve as the recorder for the roundtable at which they are seated. Recorders will receive one point toward membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals after the notes are submitted.

To claim a free lunch ticket, select your desired topic from the drop-down box. If your desired topic is grayed-out, the free lunch for this topic has already been taken; however, tickets for this topic are still available for purchase. If you do claim a free ticket, it will be added to your registration and show on your confirmation letter with a price of $0. When you arrive at the meeting, you will receive a lunch ticket with your selected topic printed on it. At the lunch, you must sit at the table for your designated topic. Each table facilitator will have a roster to record attendance. If your plans change and you cannot attend the lunch, please cancel in advance so that the free ticket will be available for another attendee and so that the roundtable will have a recorder. See registration instructions for cancellation instructions.
