With a bold reminder to patrons that October is NMLM, a calendar full of NMLM events were distributed by staff at the Detroit Medical Center Library. Included with the calendars were sign-up sheets for the library's medical informatics classes.

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Library, La Crosse, WI

Innovative and inexpensive to produce describe the "Sticky Strips" created by the staff at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Library. The strips provided an interesting way to promote the library and give patrons a few good Websites to use when searching for health information on the Internet. Although they look like and can be used as bookmarks, the strips have a peel off layer on the back to serve as a sticker.

Stanford University, Lane Medical Library, Stanford, CA Lane Medical Library staff distributed these informative handouts during their 2002 Community Day at the Library event. The handouts feature an FAQ on Internet health information as well as a list of helpful Websites.

Kornhauser Health Sciences Library, Louisville, KY Kornhauser health Sciences Library revamped their newsletter giving it a more colorful, updated look. The new design prominently placed the library name and URL on the cover and helped with establishing the library identity.
