AIDS:

AIDS
This listing is a subset of the clinicaltrials.gov clinical trials list but has a specially designed search page for people looking for HIV/AIDS trials, including trials recruiting HIV-negative people. This list can be searched by specific condition, drug under study, and trials involving children and adolescents. It is an information service provided by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Alzheimers:

Alzheimer's Association
This listing of clinical trials on Alzheimer's takes its information from the ClinicalTrials.gov. The list is divided into categories: fact sheets on treatments under investigation, clinical trials to prevent Alzheimer's, clinical trials to treat Alzheimer's, other trials, and information on general research.

Alzheimer's Research Forum
A short list of drugs currently in trials. While the list does not provide information about joining a trial, it does present evidence both for and against the effectiveness of the drug, with references to the medical literature.

ALS:

ALS Therapy Development Foundation
Website has a short detailed list of clinical trials for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) by drug name, clinic, and enrollment status, plus an additional site of current clinical trials.

Cancer:

American Cancer Society/EmergingMed Clinical Trials Matching Service
This is a free Clinical Trials matching service; answer a few questions and a listing of available clinical trials will be provided.

Clinical Trials Database from the National Cancer Institute
Provides a search engine tailored to cancer patients. Trials can be located by type of cancer (from a pull-down list), treatment, screening, genetics, supportive care, prevention, and diagnosis.

Clinical Trials and Noteworthy Treatments for Brain Tumors
Presented by the Musella Foundation, this list of clinical trials provides information by tumor type, geographic location (of the trial), by surgery, radiation, immunotherapy, gene therapy, chemotherapy, "less toxic" treatments, and new trial listings. There is also a search engine for keyword and advanced searches.

Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Clinical Trials:

National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
The NCCAM has created a detailed listing of complementary therapeutics. Selecting a link on the page will bring you to a listing of CAM studies on Clinical Trials.gov.

Mental Health:

Listed here are NIMH supported clinical trials that are in progress. Also available are the results of completed studies.

Muscular Dystrophy:

Muscular Dystrophy Association
A selective listing of active neuromuscular disease clinical trials. Refers to ClinicalTrials.gov for more detailed clinical trials listings.

Parkinson's Disease:

National Parkinson's Foundation
A list of Parkinson's disease clinical trials.

Sickle Cell:

Sickle Cell Information Center
A list of pharmaceutical companies with ongoing clinical trials on sickle cell.
