However, if you are researching a specific disease or condition, there may be clinical trials listings just for that disease or condition. To find those lists, try using a comprehensive consumer health Website such as MedlinePlus or NOAH (links open new windows), searching by disease and within disease, clinical trials.

It includes lists of clinical trials that are online and contact information for those that are not listed online. A search on "respiratory disorders" in New York provides a listing of other lists to search for trials, many of them listed below.

This listing of clinical trials compiled by the National Institutes of Health provides clinical trials conducted by the federal government, pharmaceutical industry, and nonprofit organizations. Most of the clinical trials are located in the United States or Canada but the list includes clinical trials taking place in over 80 countries. You can search for clinical trials based on a condition or disease, geographic area, treatment, or sponsor.
