Historical Quotations

There are several books available on medical quotations, but nothing available via the Internet.   Barlett’s Familiar Quotations, 10th edition (http://www.bartleby.com/100/) has SOME medical quotations and would be the best resource for medically related quotations.

 

Exercises:
  1. Use Images in the History of Medicine to find a picture of Sir William Osler
  2. Use Who Named it? to look up Henry Louis Gehrig. What disease was named after him? Why?
