MLA Health Information Literacy Research Project

In September 2006, the Medical Library Association (MLA) was awarded a two-year contract by the National Library of Medicine to study aspects of health information literacy in hospital libraries. Part of the proposal includes hiring a Project Coordinator to oversee the several components of the project. These components are described in detail below. The co-principal investigators are Jean Shipman, AHIP, 2006-2007 MLA President, Carla Funk, MLA Executive Director, and Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, Project Coordinator.

Please direct all questions about the project to Carla J. Funk.
