By logging in to the data collection area, you agree to the following:

This site collects institutional and library statistical information for use in aggregate statistical reporting and individual benchmarking efforts by MLA, its members, and other library associations and medical library professionals. If, due to institutional or library policy, you cannot report a significant portion of this data, you should not participate in this project.

Your institution and library may be individually identified in some future reports of the data, e.g., in an aggregate list of institutions with particular attributes. You may request specific anonymity of your financial data in the administrative questionnaire. When developing reports, MLA reserves the right to exclude your data, if you have not provided relevant data elements for that report. Please note that MLA benchmarking data editors may review your individual data, but ONLY for error-checking.

Your participation in the Benchmarking Network is completely voluntary, and you have the right to alter or delete your institutional and library data any time during the data collection period (October–December, 2007). MLA shall be held harmless if your entry of your institutional or library data is in violation of institutional or library policy.

Some features of this site, such as mouse-over popup definitions, require the most recent browsers. Input and saving of data, however, should be functional for all browsers.

I have read and understand the above information and voluntarily consent to participate in the MLA Benchmarking Network. I also understand that by entering data into this database, I grant permission to the Medical Library Association (MLA) and other institutions and organizations to use the data I contribute for research purposes in benchmarking institutional or library processes. I assign all rights to the data entered here to the Medical Library Association and understand that the data I contribute may be distributed to other organizations for research or development purposes.
