Great Tools to Plan your Personal Conference Schedule

As the Annual Meeting in Atlanta approaches, MLA offers some helpful guides to assist in planning your schedule and finding the sessions most relevant to your work and interests.

The itinerary planner linked to your registration confirmation is the best way to get started. It lets you browse without logging in, or better yet, create your account and start planning your personal schedule (see image below). You can search by type of session, author, speaker, vendor, committee, etc.  Another helpful feature is a calendar export of your schedule, allow you to keep everything in one place and at your fingertips.

New this year, the meeting content has been sorted by theme – consumer health, diversity and inclusion, data management, and scholarly publishing, just to name a few. Check out this helpful guide to MLA ’18 Topics, and be sure to scroll down the page to see all the categories and links to the sessions to attend.

We are excited to offer these content sessions at MLA ‘18. We hope they inspire new ideas for you and support your work at your home institution. See you all at MLA ’18!
