First Up: The Exhibit Hall

Welcome Reception/Opening of Exhibits starts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

The Exhibits Opening includes food, drink, and entertainment throughout the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors and attendees their first chance to network as the exhibits kick off. As you plan your day to day activities at MLA 2017 in Seattle don’t forget to return to the exhibit hall during the conference; it is the largest exhibit concentrating specifically on the needs of medical libraries. Use your time to establish initial contact with new vendors, or meet face-to-face with current vendors and pass on your ideas on how to improve their products. Also you have the opportunity to ask for a demo to see just what that new button in the left corner of the screen really does. The exhibit hall is the best place to compare products if you’re not sure which one will best meet your needs, saving you both time and money. With over 95% of attendees spending time in the exhibit hall you are sure to run into your colleagues as well. Bring your walking shoes, extra business cards, and remember to consult the vendor map in order to make the most of your time.
