Happy Holidays from your officers at HHSS!
Wishing you a very happy holiday season. We may be a small section but we have a wonderful, diverse group of individuals scattered around the country. I hope wherever you are and however you celebrate that it is a very happy and peaceful time of the year for you. Below are some holiday messages from our officers. How are you celebrating this holiday? -Marie Cirelli, Blog Editor
Happy Holidays to everyone in the History of the Health Sciences.
Smile, relax, drive safely, and be kind to yourself and those around you. I’m spending Christmas with my 94-year-old father just south of Detroit. Maybe we’ll see some beautiful falling snow!

Happy Holidays to All!
Spending the holidays at home, eating good food, drinking excellent wine, and trying to catch up on all the Fall movies I have missed. I also will be “spring cleaning my office” – easier to do when it’s pretty quiet around the library!
Hope everyone has a safe and peaceful holiday season.
-Mary Helms, Chair Elect
I lost my father unexpectedly this year. He was only 61. He loved the holidays, enjoyed giving presents, and had as much fun as a child waiting for Santa. Although the holidays will be bittersweet for my family this year, we will still celebrate, just as Dad would have wanted. This holiday, cherish the moments you have with your loved ones, because one day those moments will become happy memories. For auld lang syne . . .

I'll be enjoying a family gathering in the Pacific Northwest and - hopefully - catching up on some reading.
Best wishes to all for a Happy and Healthy Holiday season!
