Get your Caffeine Fix at MLA ‘17

Seattle has always been associated with Starbucks, but did you know that Seattle is ranked as the “best U.S. city for coffee fanatics” according to SmartAsset.com? Indeed, not only are there many Starbucks cafes located all over Seattle, but there are many boutique coffee shops as well. Around the convention center, you will find nine coffee shops: seven in the nearby blocks and two inside. Inside the Convention Center, you’ll find Expresso Caffe Dior and Tougo Coffee. For more information about these coffee shops, check out the Convention Center restaurant guide. Check out this map of coffee shops near the Convention Center.

For a more nuanced coffee experience you can walk to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room or Victrola Coffee Roasters on Capitol Hill in about 10 minutes-- if you do not mind the hike uphill. If you have time to spare, get a taste of the specialty pours at Espresso Vivace Roasteria, also on Capitol HIll, and at Milstead & Co., near the Fremont Troll. So, if you are a coffee fanatic, Seattle is the place for you to visit. Come to MLA 2017 and experience the Seattle coffee scene!
