The goals of this teleconference are to enhance knowledge of and to encourage participation in the provision of information about public health by health sciences librarians.

  • To provide a fundamental knowledge about public health
  • To explore the information needs of the public health workforce
  • To present a sample of resources currently available to meet their information needs
  • To demonstrate collaboration between health sciences librarians and the public health workforce
