Cosponsored by the Greater Midwest Region,

Admission Application Procedures

1) All applications must be postmarked by December 16, 2005. Applicants will receive notice of admission by mid-January.

2) All applicants must submit their own MLA-approved CE course that they plan to convert to a Web format to be eligible for the CE Institute. If the course you are submitting is not already approved for MLA hours, please complete the Application for Approval: MLA CE Activity form and submit it with the institute application and appropriate fees to the address below.

3) Only one instructor per MLA-approved CE course may apply to the institute. If the course you are applying with is team taught, only one instructor from the team may attend.

4) The institute's enrollment is limited to sixteen scholars. From the total number of seats, no more than eight have been reserved for qualified NN/LM coordinators and their MLA-approved courses. The remainder will be open to qualified MLA-approved instructors. Preference will be given to MLA members.

5) Please see the Institute Overview for more details. If you have any questions about the application, contact Kathleen Combs, CE coordinator, 312.419.9094 x29, mlapd1@mlahq.org.
