CE Activity Announcement for MLA News

MLA Marketing Criteria

1) Marketing is offered only to developers with educational activities approved for MLA CE contact hours, if all requirements are met.
2) The MLA News lists dates, course titles, instructors, location, fees, instructor and contact information
3) Any CE activity should be announced in the MLA News at least one month before it is held.
4) For CE announcements to be listed in the MLA News, MLA must receive educational activity announcements by the first day of the month preceding publication (e.g. if the course is to be held in April, the announcement should reach MLA by February 1st for inclusion in the March issue of the MLA News).
5) Please allow an additional month for combined issues, published in June/July and November/December.

General Instructions
Follow the italicized directions to prepare your announcement as a separate word processing document using 12-point typeface. Use outside margins of at least 1". Identify the numbered sections of the announcement, and double-space between sections.

1. Course title: List exact activity title as submitted for MLA approval.

2. Instructor: Give name of instructor that will be teaching the upcoming course.

3. MLA CE contact hours : Number of contact hours awarded by MLA.

4. Sponsor: List the sponsor of the upcoming educational offering.

5. Location: List where the upcoming offering will be held. Include institution, city, and state.

6. Date:    Time:

Provide the date and time of upcoming offering.

7. Registration Fee: List fees for members and non-members.

8. Contact Person: Give the name of the contact for the upcoming offering.

9. Address:    Telephone:    Fax:    Email:

List the address, telephone, fax and email for the contact person.
