Panum Group is looking for a systematic review librarian to support our client at the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, USDA Nutrition Evidence Library (NEL). This is a team of motivated nutritionists and systematic review methodologists who are dedicated to supporting evidence-based decision-making through their work on systematic reviews. NEL staff support systematic review projects that inform federal nutrition policy and programs such as the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
Required: Strong expertise in systematic review literature searching in biomedical, nutrition, and public health–related databases such as PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane is required. Strong organizational and electronic information skills with proven ability to utilize indexing, controlled vocabulary, and search features (i.e. Boolean/proximity operators, limiters and filters, etc.) in bibliographical databases are needed. Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment is preferred. A master’s degree in library science from an American Library Association (ALA)–accredited library school is required.
