The Scroll of Exemplary Service started in 2002 now extends to a new poster board. It was proudly displayed today.
I handed the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee into the capable hands of Basia Delawska-Elliott. She will head up a Task Force to refresh the Strategic Plan as needed to reflect new, different and convincing methods to continue to prove our value and keep hospital librarians in place and hospital library doors open. Economic methods will certainly be considered. There are interesting efforts already underway and those efforts will be joined. The time line calls for a report next year in Atlanta. Please contact Basia with your interest to serve on the task force.
