This course will teach librarians about the biomedical publishing process and enhance the knowledgebase and communications between librarians and publishers, thereby enabling both groups to face the challenges of current and future scholarly communication environments. Topics include peer review, ethical issues, online publishing, pricing considerations, and editorial aspects.
