This interactive course is designed to give learners an introduction
to critical appraisal skills through understanding basic study designs
in medicine (case-control, cohort, and randomized controlled trial
[RCT]) and validity criteria for RCTs. After completing this course,
learners will be better able to identify appropriate study designs,
identify criteria used to evaluate RCTS, and identify ways to help
support evidence-based medicine in their institutions.
