The Hilton Washington in Washington, DC, is a contemporary urban retreat situated on several acres near Dupont Circle in the heart of the nation’s capital. Guests at the Hilton Washington enjoy being in the center of DC’s most sought after neighborhoods, including Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, and the U Street Corridor. The hotel is a mile from the Smithsonian National Zoological Park and just four blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro Station on the Red Line. Here are a just a few attractions near the Hilton Washington:

The Hilton Washington has embarked on a $140 million restoration project, and in early 2010, the hotel will complete a monumental, top-to-bottom transformation of guest rooms, meeting space, lobby, and restaurants.

Reservation Procedures
It is in your best interest to reserve your room as early as possible. Booking early helps ensure you will receive your first-choice room type for your preferred dates. To reserve a room, call the hotel at 202.483.3000 or register online. If you call, be sure to mention the “Medical Library Association Meeting" to ensure you will receive the rate listed below. The deadline for the hotel to receive your reservation is Monday, April 12, 2010. The hotel will ask for a one-night, refundable deposit. If your plans change, notify the hotel prior to May 17, 2010, to avoid losing your deposit.

The rate below will prevail between May 18 and May 27, 2010, and does not include state and local taxes and any service charges. Room reservations and deposits should be received by the hotel no later than Monday, April 12, 2010, and are subject to availability within the group block. Reservation requests made after this date will be handled on a space and rate available basis.

Single/double: $249 plus tax

Shared Billing
To facilitate accurate billing, if you are sharing a room and require special billing arrangements, be sure to indicate this to the front desk staff upon check-in.

Room Reservation Guarantee
A deposit totaling one night’s room and tax (contact hotel for current taxes as they are subject to change) is required for all reservations. You can guarantee your reservation by providing credit card information on the form or via telephone or by mailing a check, made payable to the hotel, directly to the hotel.

Cancellations or Changes
To cancel or adjust reservations, contact the hotel directly. For a full deposit refund, all cancellations must be received by at least seventy-two hours prior to scheduled arrival.

Check In/Check Out Times
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is noon.
