Building on concepts of understanding learning styles and how to
organize and "chunk" instructional content for the online
environment, this course's main goal is to teach librarians the
best practices for creating effective screencasts (video-based online
instruction modules) using Camtasia and other similar tools. This
is a hands-on-class.
On Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (eastern time)
this MLA eLearning course will take place during the MLA '10 in
Washington, DC. MLA members not able to attend the meeting will
be able to participate in a live web-based version of this course.
Technical requirements will be sent electronically prior to the
annual meeting.
