Offered: Saturday, May 16, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

This course covers the tools and principles of evidence-based public health nursing. Emphasis is placed on the paradigm shift from individual to population-based practice and the finding, appraisal, and creation of evidence in public health nursing. The course covers understanding the the concepts behind the levels of evidence, research design, and search techniques and keeping current.
