MLA '08: Greening the Medical Library Association Annual Meeting: What Exhibitors Can Do
MLA '08 attendees will make a concerted effort to participate in a "green" meeting that makes a minimal environmental impact. Meeting participants will take steps such as printing handouts on recycled paper, bringing their own toiletries, and taking public transportation in Chicago.
Please support our efforts by taking the following steps in your exhibitions:
- Offer handouts electronically, so that meeting attendees can download them to a jump-drive rather than taking physical copies.
- Print all physical copies on recycled paper, duplexed whenever possible.
- If you give away promotional items, seek materials that are made from recycled materials or that can be reused after the meeting.
