Finding the Evidence: Evidence-based Practice in Nursing

While finding evidence in the medical literature has become fairly standardized, finding the evidence in the nursing literature can be less straightforward. This class will include a basic overview and history of evidence-based practiced (EBP) in nursing, hierarchies of quantitative and qualitative evidence, formulation of the question, and finding of the right resources, as well as aspects unique to nursing, such as qualitative metasynthesis and EBP in nursing administration.
