Librarians are already familiar with patrons' rights to privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual freedom. Health sciences librarians face additional issues in providing information for health care decisions. Participants will become familiar with various codes, particularly MLA's Code of Ethics for Health Sciences Librarianship, and will examine them in various scenarios.
