Understanding and Using Medical Terminology

Offered: Friday, May 18, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Build a solid foundation of basic medical terminology through the study of word structure and definitions and review of National Library of Medicine online vocabulary tools. This course will teach participants to analyze and define medical terms and to explore new terms through a pathway of Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) tree structures and the MeSH browser.
