Get an overview of current educational principles
and practices to consider when teaching learners in the health professions.
Medical librarians have considerable experience with informal, ad
hoc teaching, but few have had formal training in educational principles
and practices. This class will allow you to take on more formal
teaching roles, by teaching the principles of learning theory and
instructional design as well as skills with which to confidently
develop educational objectives and assignments that can be assessed
objectively.
