Get an introduction to the field of bioethics for
health information professionals. This course will give participants
a basic understanding of bioethical theory and topics, offer a method
for analyzing bioethics problems, examine ethical issues in end-of-life
care and in human subjects research, and review key informational
tools in bioethics. Students will discuss cases confronted by clinicians
and by health information professionals.
