Have you been asked to deliver training to
library patrons, students, and/or faculty? Would you like to learn
how to create training that gets your customers up and running quickly
by meeting their essential learning needs? Do you teach customers
library skills one-on-one but do not have a background in creating
instructional materials? Get the tools, confidence, and knowledge
you need to tackle real-world training situations. In this course,
you will learn to analyze learning needs and separate the need-to-know
from the nice-to-know, put adult learning principles to work with
learner-focused lesson plans, select learning activities that improve
retention and keep your participants engaged, design job aids that
put the necessary knowledge right at your customers' fingertips,
and evaluate whether your participants can apply their knowledge.
