This four-hour class is designed to increase
participants' knowledge of emerging mobile technologies by discussing
devices such as smart phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs),
and iPods. An increasing number of health care professionals and
students use mobile technologies in daily practice. It is essential
for librarians to embrace these technologies and utilize them as
vehicles to increase access to evidence-based health information
at the point of care.
