Acquire the framework for answering reference inquiries about vital and health statistics that are encountered in hospital and academic health center libraries. Focus on typical reference problems; health statistics terminology; primary location tools and applications; primary data sets collected by government and health organizations; local, state, and international statistics; and uses of MEDLINE's Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) vocabulary.
