Prerequisite: Previous experience using PubMed/MEDLINE databases

If you search using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) as controlled vocabulary with National Library of Medicine databases, then this course is for you. Develop an understanding of the history, the structure, and the indexing applications of MeSH for the subject analysis of medical literature. Learn the concept of coordinate indexing, principles for optimum search results, and backfile searches.
