MLA '05: Continuing Education Courses

Get set for the best in health information sciences continuing education at MLA '05 in San Antonio, TX. Continuing education courses are a great way to stay at the forefront of the health information profession.

  • Onsite registration of CE courses is available, however, some courses might have received their attendance maximum and be closed.
  • Courses will take place on Saturday, May 14, Sunday, May 15, and Thursday, May 19.
  • A 6.5 contact hour symposium, "The Role of Information Services for Emergency Preparedness and Response" will be offered Sunday May 15, 2005, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Course locations are published in the Official Program and will appear on your ticket. Some courses will be held offsite (see Hands-On Computer Courses below).

Hands-on computer courses are held offsite at the San Antonio College Library, 1001 Howard Street, San Antonio, TX 78212, or at TechNow, 4243 Pledras Drive East, Suite 250, San Antonio, TX 78228. These courses are not at the Henry B. González Convention Center or the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk hotels. Hands-on courses are clearly marked as part of the course description.

CE Credit Hours
Full-day CE course: 8 hours; Six-hour CE course: 6 hours; Half-day CE course: 4 hours

Special Fees
Special student fee, pending available space: $50
Cancellation or course change fee: $50 per course
