Develop a new role for librarians as teachers
of the publication process. Learn the publishing process so you
can teach it to health care professionals at your institution. Examine
types of published articles, examples of quality journals, appropriate
way to prepare a manuscript, and legal and copyright issues. Discuss
the editorial peer-review process and conversion of a poster session
or talk into a publishable manuscript.
