Career Highlights
Faith A. Meakin's first position was in reference in a small academic biomedical library in California. Over the years, the position's responsibilities evolved, as did the profession. It was an exciting time. She spent an exciting fellowship year in Minnesota and then went home for another four years. Unique opportunities to work at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva and an interesting assignment with the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) in Maryland were midpoint career choices. Now she leads an academic health science library in Florida. She is a member of MLA and has served the organization through a variety of chapter, section, and committee offices and assignments.

Judith G. Robinson is assistant dean for library and learning resources, Eastern Virginia Medical School–Norfolk, 1995–. She previously held administrative positions at Falk Library of the Health Sciences, University of Pittsburgh (1993–1994), and the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library, University of Virginia (1986–1993). Her recent MLA service includes: 2001 National Program Committee chair, Continuing Education Committee chair 1997–1998, and Centennial Coordinating Committee member 1994–1998. She served as 1994 chair of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of MLA. She was a course developer/instructor of two MLA continuing education classes, "Malpractice and Medical Librarianship: Risk Assessment" and "Ethical Dialogues in Health Sciences Librarianship." Career Highlights
Helen-ann brown dedicates her career to enhancing patient care. As a hospital librarian, clinical librarian, or online searching instructor, she focuses on supporting sound clinical judgments. A second master's in the dynamics of organization expands brown's passion to marketing and public relations of librarians, library programs, and services. Throughout her thirty-year career, brown has been an active contributing member of MLA on the national, section, and chapter levels, chairing and serving on committees and facilitating chapter sharing roundtables. She has also contributed thought-provoking posters and papers. Being on the MLA Board would be a dream come true.

Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program has been Ysabel Bertolucci's employer for the thirty years of her health sciences library career. She has been active in the Nursing and Allied Health Resources Section (NAHRS) and the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG) and has chaired and been a member of various committees, including chairing the section and the chapter. She has been active in the MLA Credentialing Committee and the Mentoring Program Task Force. This year, she served as the cochair of the 2003 National Program Committee and received the Lois Ann Colaianni Award for Excellence and Achievement in Hospital Librarianship.
